Interpretation

My professional experience includes 6 years of freelance simultaneous and consecutive interpreting services in English, French and Lingala provided for German Companies, NGO’s, courts and the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF). This work has increased my knowledge and enriched my vocabulary on various fields. I have partially accompanied journeys starting sales pitches to asylum requests. I have dealt with cases ranging from interviews, trade fairs, medical-psychological evaluation, guardianship, termination of pregnancy to criminal proceedings and more.

Translation

Be it documents for the administration or content for your website. I offer translation services for various topics with fair rates. I have a passion for languages and different cultures and my hybrid identity allows me to be flexible and enjoy working in a heterogeneous context. In 2019, I spent six months remotely in Cape Town, South Africa and Busan, South Korea as a digital content editor for my former employer, the IT company Osudio Deutschland GmbH. During this time, I learned a lot about new cultures as I was teaching English, translating documents and assisting international customer at the front desk of a guest house.

Project Management

After losing a Marketing position due to Covid I went back to school to train further and gain new competences. Doing that, I successfully acquired a qualification as TÜV-certified product manager and project manager. I can now use this knowledge to translate EU project specifications into a strategic planning to implement various processes at the university I am working at.
